Facebook Cheat Sheet

Searching for image sizes for facebook is not as easy as it should be. Facebook has changed its layout a dozen times and now they have added a timeline. So keeping up with all that has become a chore.

To help everyone keep it straight I have created a facebook cheat sheet. The cheat sheet covers all the important image sizes plus ads and videos. I hope you find it useful. I would love to see some feedback in the comments below.

Blender Tutorials From Blender Guru

Blender is a free, open source 3D graphics suite that can compete with most commercial software. I use Blender for things like video editing, creating 3D still images, modeling and more. You can find out more about Blender or download the most recent version here.

Blender comes with a learning curve and there is no better way to learn new software than to watch some step by step tutorials. There are hundreds on YouTube so to get a grasp of the basics just search there.

A Little Taste Of My 3D Animation Skills

I wanted to take a minute and tell everyone about one of my other passions. In addition to my time in the trenches as a freelance graphic designer and photographer, I also provide 3D animation and video editing to my clients.

Shooting video for a commercial or web promotion is the easy part. The editing, sound and effects are what make the video “pop”. Those elements are key to grabbing a customers attention and holding it. Watch any major movie trailer and you’ll see what I mean. In two or three minutes a good movie trailer has you hooked. At that point you can’t wait for the movie to be released so you can go watch it and eat $10 popcorn. The same principles hold true for any commercial or product spot.
